Strength training also improved CRP in a three-month study with old and young populations. These were just some of the positive results reported by the University of Connecticut researchers. - The researchers did note that intensity was a key factor. The smile is the same but the girl is not. The me on the left is freshly eighteen, about to go out to party & have a fun night out with friends. Little did I know I'd end up drinking, doing drugs & partying to deal with my stress & pain in the near future. Then, after a few years of shit going downhill fast because of these bad habits, things changed. I stopped resorting to those bad habits to numb my pain or forget about the bad shit going on. I put my energy towards improving my health & fitness. Instead of drinking & partying all weekend, I workout, focus on my goals & creating an at home business. The me on the right is finally becoming the person that I've always wanted to be. I have dreams, passions & desires. I set goals & achieve them. I enjoy my life & wake up happy. It took so much time, effort & work, and will continue to, but it is 100% worth it all. I still struggle with my depression & anxiety daily, but working out has brought so much peace & relief - it has become my medicine & healing 🙏🏼

HOW TO GET RID OF BLOATING!? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Wow, yesterday when I took this picture, I felt SO bloated. I was feeling down all day about myself, thinking I’m a shamu whale (name that movie reference🙃) when IM NOT?! Why are we our worst critics?! After I took this photo I was like wow. Sav. You need to chill and be kind to yourself. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Its OKAY to feel bloated, it’s NORMAL. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ SoOo here i am telling you I’m human and get grumpy and discouraged🤷🏻‍♀️ but I’m also here to tell you to shake it off (why yes I am a Taylor swift fan, how’d you know?) ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Here are a few tips and tricks to prevent it or soothe your pain when you feel a bit fluffy from bloating 🙈 BUT remember BLOATING IS NORMAL AND OKAY👌🏼⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 💚 Don’t eat too fast, which is causing you to eat too much at one time (my worst enemy lol😋) Take time to actually enjoy your meal and listen to when you’re full. Sloooow down 🙂 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 💚 Avoid chewing gum. Weird right?! But you’re swallowing air constantly when you do 🤷🏻‍♀️ maybe switch over to mints ❄️ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 💚 Rule out food allergies!! You may be sensitive to something you are eating 🍳 If you’re feeling bloated all the time, try eliminating factors from your diet (record it in a food diary) or see a doctor for an allergy test! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 💚 Sweat it out!! Go for a walk or even try yoga! In certain yoga poses, you can position your muscles in the abdomen in a way that encourages the release of extra gas from the GI tract! 🤸🏼‍♀️ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 💚 Take a bath! The heat can provide a relief for a sore abdomen and reduce stress levels 🙏🏼🛀 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 💚 Increase your fiber intake slowly over a period of time (a long term fix) and cut down on salt 👏🏼 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 💚 Replace fizzy drinks like soda with water 💧 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 💚 Try out probiotics. They are good bacteria that live in your intestines (trust me it’s creepier than it sounds😂) but they help regulate colon bacteria. I mean he didn't just talk about Yoga, he was talking about contortion, gymnastics etc I was thinking about it a long time, because I couldn't answer that right away. I can only answer for Yogis: we have this picture in our head about how a pose should look like and sometimes you forget that's not what it's all about. It's not about the look of the pose, but we tend to forget that, especially those amongst us, that use IG a lot and see so many great yogis in this little app. You don't have to be flexible for Yoga, you become flexible through it. If you see anyone doing a yogapose in the fullversion, it's because they're practising for many many years and they usually feel the sensations in fuller versions. My housemate never tried any kind of Yoga so far, that's why he isn't at the point of understanding what it means TO FEEL SENSATIONS. Every pose has their benefits, and that's why we don't just bend in one direction, we always go into a counterpose afterwards. it’s important to think of yoga as malleable to your life and who you are. You practise in your own pace and time and maybe your version of any asana is the best, because it's simply yours and there's no need to compare. So basically the question shouldn't be why do you need to be flexible for anything. It's a question of determination and it's your own decision how far you wanna go with your practise and there's no need to fullfill any picture 🧘🏼‍♀️
