So, this one is to sunnier times ahead:
The botanical/herb loaded Von Hallers Gin with a herbal tonic, contrasted by some fresh and juicy pink grapefruit in (and out) the glass 💦

The Sazerac. A NOLA classic. Rye, absinthe, and definitely Peychaud’s bitters and sugar cube. 2 ounces of preferred rye (or cognac for sweetness), one sugar cube soaked in bitters (Peychaud’s). Muddle the sugar cube in bitters first. Pour in the rye. Stir lightly. Chill a glass on ice. Either rinse the glass after chilling with absinthe, or spray it down with absinthe. Rinse out, pour mix into glass. Express lemon into cocktail. SIP drink, do not pound. #sazerac#NOLAcocktails#cocktails#simpleton
