When did we start letting scales weigh more on our minds then memories and laughter? Why not forfeit the false sense of worth that a number gives us. Would you put your peace on a scale and judge it if it wasn’t the right number? Give it to god and let it go.
Strength training is my favorite type of physical activity. I consider it my second favorite form of self care ✌🏼
Lifting makes me feel amazing and strong. It has skyrocketed my self esteem immensely and it’s the only time that I set aside STRICTLY for myself. A few hours a week of alone time = my personal heaven. Strength training makes me incredibly happy whenever I perform because it shows me what my body is fully capable of 🏋🏻♀️
Lifting challenges me to continuously progress physically and mentally. Any type of physical activity shouldn’t be felt as a chore. It should be seen as a celebration of what your body is capable of 🤸🏻♀️♥️
